Last meeting Recap:

• Stampede: last meeting was realistic. A positive point was that we focused on realistic goals.
  • A key to the work we are doing will be showing up every week
  • Outreach opportunity: reach out to some loud voices
    • Focus on constructive contributions
    • Chris: Reached out to Sif Lord
      • Trying to channel that into a group of contributors
      • Issue with reaching out was timing
        • [PROBLEM] How to get into these meetings when timing doesn’t work?
          • [SOLUTION] Break-off sessions with people that finds a time to work.
            • Sit down, gather info, and bring it back to a main group
        • Stampede: did having the meeting catalyze your reaching out?
          • Chris: Having these meetings is conducive to funneling that passion into contribution

    1. Find actionable resolutions to valid concerns
    2. Enable people to contribute their own solutions in places where none exist

  • Communication Methodology: Never combative – the communication needs to come from a place of understanding that doesn’t shun or reject the concerns but honors and listens to them.
